Goofin at 3am

Hello Everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday! I have a layout to share with you, I am working on our family vacation from last summer. We took a 2 week trip out west with my daughter, Kirsten's high school marching band. We had a blast! These are some pictures I took of the kids while my husband was loading our bag into the car at 3 am.



My Recipe - The yellow base paper is from the DCWV the World Traveler paper pad. The striped photo mates are from DCWV the World Traveler paper pad. Good times is cut from DCWV the World Traveler paper pad and pop dotted up. The stickers for the title are from Sticko. The ready to is cut from DCWV the World Traveler paper pad.

Chef Jared

Happy Friday Everyone!!! Hope everyone is having a great week!  We have been having a blast enjoying the beautiful weather, soccer games and yesterday I enjoyed a GREAT shopping day with my daughter Kirsten, it was her 17th Birthday. I have a 2 page layout to share with you today.



 My Recipe - The brown paper with the spoons and forks is printed with the Imagine and the Kate's Kitchen and the paper is ( a funny story, I ran out of 12x12 white card stock so I was scrapbooking with Kirsten and she said why don't you take a pattern paper you don't really like and print it on the back, What a great idea! so I did.) Ki from the enchanted paper pad.Chef Jared was cut of one of the extra Today's Menus that I printed. I inked the edges with a little blue Studio G chalk. I cut them out with the Expression using the Plantin School Book at 1". I cut out and printed the cute little recipe book with the Imagine and used it as a journal block.



The red photo mate is DCWV card stock cut at 4 1/8"x 6 1/4'. Sage green photo mat is from Creative Memories paper and cut at 4 3/8" x 4 7/8". Brown card stock is DCWV and is cut at 3 3/4" x 4 1/2 ". The light green pattern paper is printed on Geoiga Pacific card stock with the Imagine using Kate's Kitchen. The 2nd brown photo mat is cut at  3 3/4" x 4". The sage green photo mate with the rounded corners is cute at  3 1/2" x 3 3/4 and I rounded the corners with the We R Memory Keepers corner chomper.



Today's Menu was cut and printed with the Imagine and using Kate's Kitchen and was cut out at 10.5. The recipes photo mat is cut and printed with the Imagine and Kate's Kitchen at 9.5. The sage green photo mat is cut at 5 1/2". made with love was cut and printed with the Imagine and Kate's Kitchen at 6.5. The pancake group was cut and printed with the Imagine and Kate's Kitchen at 4.5. The red pancake letters are cut with the Expression with the Plantin School Book cartridge and cut at 1 1/4"

Remember Note Pad

Happy Monday Everyone!!! Hope yall have a wonderful weekend. We had beautiful weather here in Tennessee and it was hard to make it into my craft room, but I was able to sneak in a little time. I want to share a cut little note pad I made.




My recipe - I took a piece of chipboard and cut it down to 3 7/8" for the back. The front cover is a piece of card stock from ColorBok it is cut at 3 7/8".  Both top and bottom I used my We Are Memories Keepers corner chomper to round the corners. I cut the hand and Remember title at 3.5" and pop doted the up.  The inside pages were printed and cut using my Imagine, they were cut at 3.5 and printed on Georgia Pacific card stock. I bound them all together using my Zutter Bind it All. This was the first time I had used it.

Let the Hunt Begin!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Sorry that I did get anything post last week. I had a little problem with the automatic posts. I thought I had it set up, but due to operator error (Me), I didn't do something right. Lol I am not very good with computers but I am working on it. Here is my layout that I wanted to share with you last week.I am still working on Pictures from 2006.







My recipe - The white paper with polka dots is from Ki Memories Enchanting paper pad and is cut at 11/2" on the top and the bottom one is cut at 3". The brown paper is cut at 4" and is from Ki Memories Enchanting paper pad The Letters are cut out using my Expression and the Base Camp cartridge and they were cut at 1" and I also cut them out as a shadow effect in purple. The orange paper is from Creative Memories. The aqua paper is from Ki Memories Enchanting paper pad. The pink paper and the pink polka dots are from my stash of scraps. The aqua paper with stripes photo mat is cut at 3 7/8" x 4 1/2" and is from Ki Memories Enchanting paper pad. The purple oval is cut at 3 7/8" x 3" with Creative Memories Oval cutter with the blue blade. Pink polka dot is cut using  3 7/8" x 3" with Creative Memories Oval cutter with the green blade. The orange oval is 3 7/8" x 3" with Creative Memories Oval cutter with the blue blade. The plaid paper is from Me & My Big Ideas and is cut 3 7/8" x 3" with Creative Memories Oval cutter with the green blade. Lime green photo mat is from  Me & My Big Ideas and is cut at 3 1/2" x 4 1/2". Aqua photo mat is from Ki Memories Enchanting paper pad and is cut at 4 1/4" x 4 1/2". The basket is cut at 1 1/2" using my Expression with the Create a Critter cartridge and the paper and stickers are from Creative Memories and the bottom of the basket is pop doted up. My cute little bunny is cut out using my Expression with the Create a Critter cartridge and cut out at 3" using a dark pink scrap from my stash and a light pink polka dot paper from Me & My Big Ideas. I added some dash marks with a silver gel pen.

Dyeing Eggs





Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you are having a good week! We have been having great weather here in Tennessee. We got our garden planted this past weekend. I have not had a lot of time to spend in my craft room, but I did manage to do a 2-page layout to share with you. Yes, I am slightly behind on my scrapbooking; I am working on 2006 pictures.






My Recipe - the title Dying Eggs cut at 1.25” and 2006 is cut at 1” and they are cut out using my Expression and my Gypsy using the Gypsy Font, the paper is from The Paper Studio – peace, love, and happiness stack. The flower paper is from Ki the enchanted paper pad. It is cut at 3” x 12”. Dark pink is Ki the Enchanted Paper Pad and is cut at 1” x 12” and I used my ek success edger punch. Light pink paper is DCWV and is cut at ¼” x 12”. The photo mates, orange, yellow, green are DCWV I think they were scraps in my stash. The blue paw print paper was also a scrap from my stash and it was cut using the Creative Memories oval cutting system. I used the 2 ¼” x 3” oval with the red blade. The paper, I think was from Color box and the paw prints was printed with my Imagine with the Four Legged Friends cartridge.





  The flower paper is from Ki the enchanted paper pad. It is cut at 5” x 12”. Dark pink is Ki the Enchanted Paper Pad and is cut at 1” x 12” and I used my ek success edger punch. Light pink paper is DCWV and is cut at ¼” x 12”. The photo mates, orange, orange strips , purple, purple strips, blue – green , blue – green stripes are The Paper Studio. The blue plaid oval is The Paper Studio and was cut out with the Creative Memories oval cutting system. I used the 5” x 7” oval with the blue blade. The cream paper is from DCWV and is cut with Creative Memories oval cutting system. I used the 5” x 7” oval with the red blade. The bunny is cut out using black card stock from @ the office, the white is Georgia Pacific, pink card stock I think is from DCWV, it was a piece from my stash. I used my Expression with the Create a Critter cartridge, and it was cut on 3” The eggs were cut  out using  Creative Memories cutting system the small heart with the red blade. I used leftover Easter grass.

My Girls

Happy Wednesday !! Hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying this beautiful weather. I have a fun layout to share with you, my daughter Kirsten and our puppy Ginger were coming to visit me in my craft room.




My recipe - Purple polka dots is 12"x12" from The Paper Studio - basics stack. Green stripped paper is cut at  4 1/2" x 1 1/2" and is from The Paper Studio - basics stack. Pink flower paper is from K & Company and is cut at 6 3/8" x 1 1/2" and the triangles are cut with Creative Memories 1 1/2 squares punch and cut  in half. Yellow squares are punched with Creative Memories 1 1/2" punch, with purple gel pen dash marks, the paper is The Paper Studio - peace, love, happiness stack. Flowers are from Flowers Scrap'n Bloom, the were an off white and I inked the edges with Studio G orange and Scrappy Cat bright yellow, the centers have 3 orange rhinestones from i-Roc and pop dotted up. My Girls were cut out using my Expression with the Cricut Classic Font cartridge at 2", not sure what paper line it is from, it was a scrap from my stash and they were pop dotted up. Dark purple photo mat is cut at 4 12" x 6 3/8" not sure what paper line it is from, it was a scrap from my stash. Light purple photo mat is cut at 4 1/4 x 6" not sure what paper line it is from, it was a scrap from my stash.

BeeeCause....

   Happy Wednesday Everyone!! Hope yall have been enjoying the beautiful weather.Yesterday, here in Tennessee it was 75 degrees and today its going to be the same. Two of my children are on spring break and we are outside playing and having fun (last week my oldest son was home on spring break from collage).
    Today I would like to share a quick card with you, it is called a buckle card. If you would like step by step instructions leave me a message and I will post them.
   








My recipe - I used Georgia Pacific white card stock for the base. The flower print and the strips are from K & Company. I used my Imagine to cut out the scallops, it is preloaded onto the the machine. I used cream card stock by DCWV to print the designs and color on the scallops, I used the Elise cartridge. For the cute little bee I used my Imagine to print and cut him out, using the Create a Critter cartridge. I used my white Pearl Pen to put some accents and a black gel pen for dash marks. Beeecause.... is printed on DCWV cream card stock from my computer. The I love you, is from the I'm just saying collection from Club Rubies Studio.

The Hunt!

GOOD MORNING ALL!! Hope everyone is enjoying this Beautiful Saturday morning! I would like to share with you a Easter layout, Nicholas my oldest son had just hidden eggs for his sister, Kirsten, and brother, Jared, to find..




My recipe - The title is cut out using the Sizzix Lollipop uppercase dies and the paper is Creative Memories. The green squares are punched at1 1 1/4" with the Creative Memories punch and the paper is Creative Memories. The cream squares are punched at 1" with the Creative Memories punch and is DCWV paper. The dash marks are done with the Creative Memories black fine tip pen. All the stickers are from Creative Memories.

Play Time 2


Happy Thursday everyone!! Hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring like weather. I just want yall to know that I am really far behind on my layouts and the pictures that I have been sharing are from 2006, that is the year I have been working on. But I did find something from 2005 that I wanted to scrap and share. I have another Play Time to Share (I have used the title before, but Jared and I had A LOT of play time while his brother and sister were at school lol ).







My recipe - Play Time is Creative Memories paper cut out with the Sizzix Lollipop Uppercase dies.The dark yellow oval is Creative Memories paper and is cut out using the Creative Memories oval (4"x6") with the green blade on the outer track. Light yellow square is Creative Memories paper and is cut at 4 13/16" x 4 3/16". Dark yellow is Creative Memories paper and is cut at 6 3/6 " x 4 3/16". The stickers are from Creative Memories Great Lengths Jumbo yellow & chamois pack.

Visit from the Tooth Fairy

Happy Tuesday! Today, I want to share with you a layout with you, Jared's first visit from the Tooth Fairy. He lost 2 teeth at once.



My recipe - Dark blue paper is from Creative Memories and is cut at 1"x12", dark blue photo mat is cut at  4 3/16" x 4 5/16". Green squares are punched out with Creative Memories square punch at 1 1/4". Green striped paper is from The Paper Studio -Basic Stack and is cut out with Creative Memories Wavy Frames and I used the blue blade on the outer groove. Cream card stock is DCWV. Striped green squares are also punched with Creative Memories punch and they were punched at 1 1/4". Light green squares are from Provo Craft - Slab 111 Stack and punched at 1" with Creative Memories square punch. The 2 green photo mats are cut at (bigger one) 4 7/8" x 4 1/2" and (smaller one) 4 1/4" x 4 3/4". All the Stickers came from Karen Foster Design. The dash marks are made with a silver gel pen.

Bubblebath Fun

Happy Monday! I want to share a fun layout with you today. Jared enjoying a bubble bath.



My recipe - Squares are cut out using my creative Memories square punch. The dark blue squares are 1 1/4" and the paper is from Provo Craft - Slab 111 pack, I used it as a base and it is cut at 8". The cream is punched at 1" and it is DCWV card stock. The light blue strips are from The Paper Studio- The Basic Paper Pack and the base is cut at 6 1/2" and the small strip is cut at 1/2". The orange letters are cut out using my Expression at 1" and I used the cartridge Base Camp, I used the shadow feature. the paper is from The Paper Studio- The Basic Paper Pack. The ducky sticker is from Creative Memories and I can't remember where the bubble stickers came from I have had them a long time.

We are Lucky

Happy Monday!! What a beautiful day!
I want to share with you a card I made for St. Patrick's Day.



 My recipe -  The base is the DCWV craft card stock and it is cut at 4 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches, cream card stock is DCWV and it is cut at 4 inches x 5 inches, I'm not sure what the light green is, it was something I had in my stash. I used my Imagine to print the shamrocks on it, with the Celebrate with Flourish cartridge and its cut at 3 /8 inches x 4 /8 inches. I printed the same shamrock on a piece DCWV white card stock and cut it out with the Imagine. I outlined it with Studio G green glitter glue. The green pearl drops on the top and bottom I used my green Pearl Pen.







Inside the card - Dark green paper is creative Memories and is cut at 3 5/8 inches x 4 5/8 inches, light green paper was a left over piece from the front and cut at 3 3/4 inches x 5 1/8 inches, white printer paper and I inked the edges with ColorBox ink Ice Jade and is cut at 2 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches, the font I used was comic book from my computer.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde

Happy Wednesday!
 Today I am sharing a layout with Jared and his funny expressions.


 

My Recipe -  The colored square paper and the strip paper is The Paper Studio from the All Seasons Paper Stack and they are cut at 5 1/2 inches by 12 inches, Green piece of paper is 3 1/2 inches by 12 inches and I ran it through my Fiskars Paper Crimper and I'm not sure the brand of paper it was in my scraps, Red and Blue paper is card stock from DCWV, Black card stock for letters is from DCWV, Dr. Jekyll  was cut out at 2.24 inches, and was cut out at 1.35 inches, they both were welded in my Gypsy and I used the Base Camp cartridge, I used a white gel pen for the stiching, Mr. Hyde was also welded in my Gypsy and I used the Happy Hauntings cartridge Vampire font, it was cut out at 1.80 inches and outlined with red Stickles, Journal  box is just left over scraps from the colored boxes and stripes I already used, I can't remember what brand the eyelets are I have had them a long time, I used my Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile Big Bit to punch the holes and to set the eyelets, the white journal box is from Creative Memories and I inked the edges with Color Box fluid chalk ink Ice Jade.

All Star

Hello Everyone Happy Tuesday! Here is a baseball layout I wanted to share with you.


My recipe - The base is black card stock from DCWV, white baseballs are card stock from Georgia Pacific, I cut them out with the Creative Memories 2 1/2 inch circle cutter with the red blade on the outer ring and I used the Creative Memories red fine tip pen to do the stitching, The flames were cut out with the Cricut Expression using the Indie Art cartridge at 2 3/4 inches and I also used the layer function key, The red,orange, and yellow flames are DCWV card stock and the red flames were outlined with red Stickles, The yellow stars are cut out with the Creative Memories star punch 1 1/2 and 1 1/4 inches and I inked the edges with Studio G orange ink and outlined with Studio G yellow glitter glue, the blue letters are DCWV and are cut out using the Plantin School Book cartridge Tall ball setting, I used my Memory Keeper corner rounder on 1/2 inch to round corners.

Play Time

Hello Everyone!

This is my first post to my blog, I hope you like it.
Here is a layout I did with my son Jared and our puppy Ginger.

 

My Recipe:                            
Blue and red paper is Colorbox Textured card stock, light blue paper is Paper Studio - the Basics Stack, the blue borders are Creative Memories - Jumbo Great Length Blue & Aqua.
I used my Imagine with the Four Legged Friends cartridge to print the black paw prints. The two big paw prints are on light blue paper are printed at 1-1/2", the paw prints on the blue paper is printed at .5", and the paw prints on the red paper is printed at .2".
